The heart of our studio is an Auditronics 310 analog console made in Memphis, Tennessee. With the capability to have 24 simultaneous inputs and outputs, we can mix in the analog domain utilizing the console for analog summing. We have the option of tracking to our Alesis HD24XR before digitally bouncing tracks into the DAW, so we can record in the digital domain just like we would if we had a 24-Track Studer purring beside us. We can also track straight into the DAW using the HD24XR as a backup recorder. We love our current setup because we can choose our workflow depending on the demands of the session. This benefits the artist because it saves them time and money.
